A day at Qwest Field

After a long wait (of 4 seasons in Seattle), got finally two tickets for the last game of the regular season.

The game when Seahawks faced San Diego Chargers was probably not the best time to go as the chances of victory were less than half.

Nevertheless, it was an experience to remember for a long time:
  • Waiting in huge lines to get into the stadium
  • Getting a hot cheese pizza after 5 minute wait in the line and finishing it in 60 seconds before the cold windi could cool it down.
  • Getting seats near mid-field from where I could watch all the action live on the field, and not needing to look at the giant screen....
  • It was amazing that 1000s of small kids were there all dressed up in Seahawks colors..
  • Mixing up with Seattle fans in the next seats
  • Giving high fives each time Seahawks got a first-down
  • Jumping up and down on each of Seattle touchdown
  • Shouting constantly at San Diego offense
  • Nail-biting moments in last five minutes of the game: Can we hold onto the 17-13 lead??
  • Gasping after the last minute 37-yard touchdown of San Diego
  • Walking out of the stadium unable to believe what just happened

All in all it was a great experience...

Keeping fingers crossed on what will Seahawks do in Play-offs...
